Legislative
Most people don't realize that REALTORS® are among the most legislatively involved trade associations in the country. For decades, NAR as well as state and local REALTOR® associations have worked hand-in-hand to advocate on behalf of association members and their clients.
NAR is constantly maintaining a presence at the United States Capitol. We take pride in belonging to what we call "the REALTOR Party®", which means we are non-partisan and focus on industry and homeowner issues first and foremost.
Through their website, you can learn more about NAR's current legislative priorities, as well as monitor their federal issues tracker. Likewise, check out some of their recent successes!

Since 1969, the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) has promoted the election of pro-REALTOR® candidates across the United States. The purpose of RPAC is clear: voluntary contributions made by REALTORS® are used to help elect candidates who understand and support their interests. These are not members’ dues; this is money given freely by REALTORS® in recognition of the importance of the political process. RPAC and other political fundraising tools are key to protecting and promoting the real estate industry, private property rights, and pathways to homeownership.
